Property Asset Management

SPM has a long and established relationship with Property asset management in New Zealand and overseas. It has worked with a number of central government, local government and commercial organisations in New Zealand and Australia to address their Property asset planning requirements. SPM also produced the 2006 Property Manual for the National Asset Management Steering (NAMS ) group and provides a demonstration Property planning application.

Examples of key achievements within the Property sector since 2003 include:

Conducting condition surveys for a number of local government organisations in New Zealand. In a number of cases SPM conducted a survey of asset quality using the NAMS Property Quality Standard (PQS) approach
Providing the Property survey methodology, tools and database to Property organisations in Australia and New Zealand
Conducting building condition surveys for Waikato District Health Board and then using this information to develop a comprehensive multi-year Building Maintenance Programme for the Property portfolio
Producing Property Asset Management Plans for North Shore City Council, Whangarei District Council, Vector Arena and THE EDGE
Supporting Wellington City Housing during the development of a business for Housing New Zealand funding for its $220 million Housing Upgrade Programme
